Token Architecture

Chronomancy uses a dual-token architecture. $TIMEMACHINE ($TM) is the existing token. $CHRONO is the planned protocol token. They serve different purposes and different user archetypes.

SupplyFixed 1,000,000,000 (1 billion)

FunctionScarcity + OG access

$TM is the original token — fixed supply, owner-renounced, community-owned. It confers early-adopter status and is the gateway to $CHRONO migration.

Current utility:

  • Burn to activate SLOW, FREEZE, FORK powers
  • Stake to access Standard/Premium Chrono Score tiers
  • Lock for veTM seasonal yield multipliers

SupplyDeflationary (has burn())
ChainBEP-20 → Polygon (Phase 1+)
FunctionUtility + value accrual

$CHRONO is planned for Phase B of the token roadmap. It wraps $TM 1:1 — each $TM can be converted to 1 $CHRONO. $CHRONO has a burn() function, meaning protocol fee burns reduce totalSupply visibly on-chain.

The dual framing:

  • $TM = OG ticket (scarcity appreciation) — fixed supply that only decreases as $TM converts to $CHRONO
  • $CHRONO = protocol token (utility appreciation) — earns yield from protocol revenue, burns from fee flows

The $TM → $CHRONO migration is designed to reward early participants:

IncentiveMechanism
Early migration bonusConvert within first 30 days → earn extra $CHRONO allocation
CS multiplier$CHRONO stakers get a multiplier on their CS-based module discounts
Seasonal bonus$CHRONO holders during migration epoch receive enhanced vault yield

The migration converts a low-mcap meme token into a protocol token with genuine cash flows — the fundamental token upgrade thesis.

PhaseEvent
Phase A (now)$TM on BSC, owner-renounced, pure community token
Phase BDeploy staking contract on BSC; 3 staking tiers live; real yield only
Phase C$CHRONO BEP-20 deployed; 1:1 migration open; burn mechanics active
Phase DBridge to Polygon (where all contracts live); $CHRONO as primary protocol token
